And David and the commanders of the army separated some to the service of the sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, who were prophets with harps, with lyres and with cymbals. And their number, of the workmen according to their service, was:
Of Jeduthun; the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah and Mattithiah, and Shimei, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun who prophesied with the lyre to give thanks and to praise Jehovah.
Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters; as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to Jehovah our God, until He shows grace to us.
To the chief musician, to Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. I said, I will keep my ways from sinning with my tongue; I will keep my mouth with a muzzle while the wicked one is before me.
And therefore Jehovah waits to be gracious to you. And for this He is exalted to have mercy on you; for Jehovah is a God of judgment. Blessed are all who wait for Him.
but the ones waiting for Jehovah shall renew strength; they shall go up with wings as the eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint!
Therefore, brothers, be patient until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer awaits for the precious fruit, being patient over it until it may receive the early and the latter rain.
