King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

To the chief musician. Do not destroy. A secret treasure of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be gracious to me, for my soul seeks refuge in You; yea, in the shadow of Your wings I will seek refuge, until the destructions pass over.

With His feathers He will cover you, and under His wings you shall seek refuge; His truth is a shield and buckler.

Because You, O Jehovah, are My refuge; You make the Most High Your habitation,

But yet a little while and the fury is finished; and My anger shall be over their destruction.

Come, My people, go in your rooms and shut your doors behind you. Hide for a little moment, until the fury passes.

Who among you fears Jehovah, obeying the voice of His Servant, who walks in darkness, and no light is in Him? Let Him trust in the name of Jehovah, and lean on His God.

And except those days were cut short, not any flesh would be saved. But on account of the elect, those days will be cut short.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem! The one killing the prophets, and stoning the ones having been sent to her, how often I desired to gather your children in the way a hen gathers her brood under the wings, and you did not desire it.

Truly, truly, I say to you that you will weep and will lament, but the world will rejoice. And you will be grieved, but your grief will become joy.

And I prayed to Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovah, do not destroy Your people, and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed in Your greatness; whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no longer, nor mourning, nor outcry, nor will there be pain still; for the first things passed away.

And I said to him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes and whitened them in the blood of the Lamb.

Jehovah shall repay your work, and your reward shall be complete from Jehovah the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.

And David went from there and escaped to the cave of Adullam. And his brothers heard, and all his father’s house, and they went down to him there.

And on the way he came in to the folds of the flock. And there was a cave. And Saul went in to cover his feet. And David and his men were staying in the recesses of the cave.

And David’s men said to him, Behold, the day of which Jehovah said to you, Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, and you shall do to him as it is good in your eyes. But David rose up and quietly cut off the skirt of Saul’s robe.

And David rose up afterward and went out from the cave and called after Saul, saying, My lord the king! And Saul looked behind him. And David bowed nose to the earth, even bowed down.

And David said to Abishai, Do not destroy him. For who shall put forth his hand against the anointed of Jehovah and be guiltless?
