Evening and morning and at noon I will complain and moan; and He will hear my voice.

Behold, I cry out, Violence! And I am not answered; I cry aloud, but there is no justice.

At halves of the night I will rise to give thanks to You because of Your righteous judgments.

Let my prayer be established before You as incense; the lifting up of my palms as the evening sacrifice.

For He shall save the needy one who cries, and the poor one with no helper to him.

In the day of my distress I sought the Lord; my hand spread out in the night and did not grow benumbed; my soul refused to be comforted.

But to You I have cried, O Jehovah; and in the morning my prayer shall go before You.

to make Your mercy known in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night;

Also, when I cry out and shout for help, He shuts out my prayer.

And when he had learned that the writing was signed, Daniel went to his house. And his windows were open in his roof room toward Jerusalem. He knelt on his knees three times in the day, and prayed and praised before his God, as he was doing before.

Then they answered and said before the king, Daniel, who is of the sons of the exiled of Judah, has not set attention on you, O king, or the decree that you have signed, but he makes his prayer three times in the day.

And rising up quite early in the night, He went out and went away into a deserted place. And He was praying there.

And taking leave of them, He went away to the mountain to pray.

And He saw them being distressed in the rowing, for the wind was against them. And it was about the fourth watch of the night when He came toward them, walking on the sea. And He willed to go by them.

About the ninth hour of the day, he saw clearly in a vision an angel of God coming to him, and saying to him, Cornelius!

And Cornelius said, From the fourth day until this hour I was fasting, and the ninth hour I was praying in my house. And, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing.

And on the next day, those ones traveling on the road, and drawing near to the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray about the sixth hour.

And on the same day Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth.

through all prayer and petition, praying at all seasons in the Spirit, and being alert to this same end, with all perseverance and petition concerning all the saints.

who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to the One being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;
