For You are not a God enjoying wickedness; evil shall not live with You.

And I know, my God, that You try the heart and are pleased with uprightness; I, in the uprightness of my heart, have offered willingly all these things; and now I have watched with joy Your people who are present here offering willingly to You.

He who works deceit shall not live inside my house; he who speaks lies shall not be established before my eyes.

Jehovah tries the just one, but His soul hates the wicked ones and the one loving violence.

Surely the righteous ones shall give thanks to Your name; the upright ones shall dwell in Your presence.

You have done these things, and I have kept silence; you thought that being I would be like you; but I will rebuke you and set in order before your eyes.

so as I have seen you in the sanctuary, seeing Your power and Your glory.

O Jehovah, why do You cast off my soul; why do You hide Your face from me?

to declare that Jehovah is an upright One, my Rock! And in Him is no evil.

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with You, forming mischief for a statute?

You are of purer eyes than to look upon evil, and You are not able to look upon mischief. Why do you regard those acting deceitfully? Will You be silent when the wicked one swallows the more righteous one than he?

You have wearied Jehovah with your words. Yet you say, In what way have we wearied Him? When you say, Every doer of evil is good in the eyes of Jehovah, and in them He delights; or, Where is the God of justice?

Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My Word, and My Father shall love him. And We will come to him and will make an abode with him.

Eagerly pursue peace and holiness with all, without which no one will see the Lord,

But according to His promise, we look for “new heavens and a new earth,” in which righteousness dwells. Isa. 65:17

And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they might shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

And all profaning may not enter into it, or any making an abomination or a lie; not ever; if not the ones having been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.
