Surely God will redeem my soul from the hand of Sheol, for He will take me. Selah.

Into Your hand I commit my spirit; You have redeemed me, O Jehovah, God of truth.

For You have delivered my soul from death. Are You not keeping my feet from falling, to walk before God in the light of the living?

You shall guide me by Your counsel; and afterward You will take me to glory.

For Your mercy toward me is great; and You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol.

What man lives and never sees death? Shall he deliver his soul from the hand of Sheol? Selah.

I will ransom them from the hand of Sheol; I will redeem them from death. O death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your ruin? Repentance is hidden from My eyes.

And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, “into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And saying this, He expired. Psa. 31:5

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.

And they stoned Stephen, he calling on God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

And I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, Write: Blessed are the dead ones, the ones dying in the Lord from now. Yes, says the Spirit, they shall rest from their labors, and their works follow with them.

And they sing a new song, saying, Worthy are You to receive the scroll, and to open its seals, because You were slaughtered, and by Your blood purchased us to God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
