And I will appoint a place for My people, for Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in their own place and not be made to tremble any more; and not shall the sons of evil afflict them again, as at the first,
There they dreaded with dread, where no dread was; for God has scattered the bones of the one who besieges you; you have put them to shame because God rejects them.
And I will have mercy on the house of Judah and will save them by Jehovah their God. And I will not save them by bow or by sword, or by battle, by horses, or by horsemen.
No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you and not will I forsake you.
And Jehovah said to Joshua, Do not fear before them, for about this time tomorrow I will give all of them up wounded before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
And when Jehovah raised up judges to them, then Jehovah was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge. For Jehovah took pity because of their groaning before those oppressing them, and those crushing them.
And all this company shall know that Jehovah does not save by sword and by spear, but that the battle belongs to Jehovah, and He has given you into our hand.
