Psalm 40:17

But I am a poor and needy one; the Lord will take thought for me. You are my help and my deliverer; O my God, do not delay.

For I am an afflicted and needy one, and my heart is pierced within me.

I sought Jehovah, and He answered me, and delivered me out of all my fear.

This humble one cried; and Jehovah heard, and saved him out of all his distress.

Let those who delight in my justification shout and rejoice; and they shall say continually: Jehovah be magnified, delighting in the peace of His servant.

Many things have You done, O Jehovah my God; Your works of wonder and Your purposes toward us; there is none to set them in order to You; I will declare and I will speak; they are more than can be counted.

Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is with those who uphold my soul.

For Jehovah hears the needy ones, and He does not despise His prisoners.

But I am a humble one and a needy one, come quickly to me, O God; You are my help and my deliverer; O Jehovah, do not wait any longer.

A Prayer of David. O Jehovah, stretch out Your ear, answer me, for I am an afflicted and needy one.

And one shall say in that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Jehovah; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

Afflicted ones and the needy ones seek water, and there is not any; their tongue is parched for thirst. I, Jehovah will answer them, the God of Israel; I will not leave them.

And Jesus said to him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the heaven have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere He may lay His head.

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that being rich, He became poor for your sake, so that you might become rich by the poverty of that One.

So that we may boldly say, “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid. What shall man do to me?” Psa. 118:6

Hear, my beloved brothers, did not God choose the poor ones of this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to the ones loving Him?

who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, He did not threaten, but gave Himself over to the One judging righteously;

“casting all your anxiety onto Him,” because it matters to Him concerning you. LXX-Psa. 54:23; MT-Psa. 55:22

The One testifying these things says, Yes, I am coming quickly. Amen. Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
