To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. Waiting I have waited on Jehovah; and He turned to me and heard my cry.
Because He has stretched out His ear to me, even I will also call in my days.
Lord, hear my voice, and let Your ears attend to the voice of my prayers.
The eyes of Jehovah are on the righteous ones and His ears are open to their cry.
Rest in Jehovah and wait patiently for Him; inflame not yourself with him who prospers in his way, with the man practicing wicked wiles.
O my God, stretch out Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our ruins and the city which is called with Your name on it. For we do not make our prayers fall before You on account of our righteousnesses, but because of Your great mercies.
