Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and give ear to my cry. Do not be silent at my tears, for I am an alien with You, a sojourner, as were all my fathers.

Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my sojournings.

You have counted my wanderings; You; put my tear in Your wineskin; are they not in Your Book?

For all our days pass away in Your wrath; we finish our years like a sigh.

And the land shall not be sold in perpetuity; for the land is Mine; for you are aliens and sojourners with Me.

Therefore always being fully confident, and knowing that being at home in the body we are away from home from the Lord

These all died by way of faith, not having received the promises, but seeing them from afar, and being persuaded, and having welcomed them and confessed that they are strangers and sojourning ones on the earth.

who in the days of His flesh was offering both petitions and entreaties to the One being able to save Him from death, with strong crying and tears, and being heard from His godly fear;
