And David spoke to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul.

You are my shelter and my shield; I hope in Your Word.

O Jehovah, deliver me from my enemies; by You I am covered.

For in the day of evil He shall hide me in His shelter; in the secrecy of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me up on a rock.

Many sorrows are to the wicked one; but he who trusts in Jehovah, mercy embraces him.

Jehovah also will be a refuge for oppressed ones, a refuge in times of distress.

For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.

And they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation to our God, the One sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb.
