I confessed my sin to You, and I have not hidden my iniquity; I said, I will confess over my transgression to Jehovah; and You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against Jehovah. And Nathan said to David, Jehovah also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

Why have you despised the Word of Jehovah, to do the evil in His eyes? You have stricken Uriah the Hittite by the sword, and you have taken his wife to yourself for a wife. And you have killed him by the sword of the sons of Ammon.

and forgive Your people who have sinned against You, even all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and give them pity before those capturing them that they pity them.

whatever supplication, whatever prayer shall be made for each man, and for all Your people Israel, when they know each man his own plague, and his own pain, and he shall spread out his palms toward this house;

And now give confession to Jehovah God of your fathers and do His will. And separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from the foreign women.

if I covered my transgressions like Adam, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom,

He will look upon men and say, I have sinned, and I have perverted upright ways; and it was not made even to me;

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He put our transgressions from us.

He who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

Turn Your face to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

Look on my affliction and my toil, and lift up all my sins.

For His anger is only a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure in the evening, but a ringing cry of joy comes in the morning.

For I will confess my iniquity; I am anxious from my sin.

And my living enemies are strong; and ones hating me have multiplied; they lie.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the secret part You teach me wisdom.

But You, O God, are God, full of pity; and gracious, long before anger and rich in mercy and truth.

For You, O Lord, are good and ready to forgive, and rich in mercy to all who call on You.

One covering his transgressions will not prosper, but the one confessing and forsaking them shall have pity.

So is the way of a woman doing adultery; she eats, and wipes her mouth, and says, I have done no iniquity.

And it will be, before they call, I will answer. While they are speaking, then I will hear.

How can you say, I am not defiled; I have not gone after Baals? See your way in the valley; know what you have done! You are a swift camel criss-crossing her ways;

Yet you say, Because I am free from guilt, surely His anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will judge with you, because you say, I have not sinned.

Only know your iniquity, that you have transgressed against Jehovah your God and have scattered your ways to strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed My voice, a statement of Jehovah.

Is Ephraim My dear son? Or is he a delightful child? For as often as I spoke against him, remembering I remember him still. So My bowels are stirred for him; pitying I will have pity on him, a statement of Jehovah.

Come and let us return to Jehovah. For He has torn, and He will heal us. He has stricken, and He will bind us up.

And it shall be when he is guilty of one of these, then he shall confess that in which he has sinned.

Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me. But you say, In what have we robbed You? In the tithe and the offering!

And He said to them, You are the ones justifying yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts; for the thing highly prized among men is an abomination before God.

For this reason I say to you, Her many sins are remitted, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, he loves little.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, having forgiven one another, even as also God forgave you in Christ.

And Joshua said to Achan, My son, now give glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and give thanks to Him, and please tell me what you have done. Do not hide it from me.
