What profit is in my blood, in going down to the Pit? Shall the dust praise You? Shall it tell of Your truth?

I shall not die, but I shall live and declare the works of Jah.

For there is no memory of You in death; who shall give thanks to You in Sheol?

I cried to Him with my mouth, and He being exalted under my tongue.

All that your hand finds to do, do it with your strength. For there is no work, or planning, or knowledge, or wisdom, in Sheol, there where you go.

For Sheol cannot thank You; death cannot praise You; the ones going down to the Pit cannot hope for Your truth.
