My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and My tongue clings to My jaws, and You appoint Me to the dust of death

And Abraham answered and said, Behold, I pray, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, and I am dust and ashes.

By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread until your return to the ground. For you have been taken out of it; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.

For dying we die and are as water which is spilled on the ground, which cannot be gathered up. And God does not take a life, but has devised plans so that the outcast is not cast out from Him.

Remember, I pray, that You have formed me as clay; and will You bring me to dust again?

My bone clings on my skin and on my flesh; and I have escaped by the skin of my teeth.

the leaders’ voice was hidden; yea, their tongue clung to their palate.

And now my soul is poured out within me; days of affliction have seized me.

all flesh shall perish together, and man shall return to dust.

I am weary from my crying, my throat is burnt; my eyes fail while I wait for my God.

A joyful heart makes good healing, but a stricken spirit dries the bones.

Therefore I will divide to Him with the great, and with the strong He shall divide the spoil; because He poured out His soul to death; and He was numbered with those transgressing; and He bore the sin of many, and made intercession for those transgressing.

The tongue of the nursling cleaves to his palate in thirst. The young children ask bread, but there is no breaking for them.

And many of the sleeping ones in the dust of the ground shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to reproaches and to everlasting abhorrence.

And crying again with a loud voice, Jesus released His spirit.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things have now been finished that the Scripture be fulfilled, He says, I thirst.

For I gave over to you among the first things what I also received, that Christ died in behalf of our sins, according to the Scriptures,
