And he struck Moab, and measured them with a line; making them to lie down on the ground. And he measured two lines to cause them to die, and the fulness of the line to keep alive. And the Moabites were slaves to David, bearing a gift.
And David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus. And the Syrians became servants to David, bearing a gift. And Jehovah saved David in all places in which he went.
They shall lick the dust like a snake; they shall tremble out of their fastnesses like crawlers of the earth; they shall dread Jehovah our God; they shall fear You.
Blessed are you, O Israel! Who is like you? A people saved by Jehovah, the Shield of your help, and He who is the Sword of your excellency! And your enemies shall be found liars before you, and you shall tread on their high places.
