Let them praise His name in the dance; let them sing praise to Him with the timbrel and lyre.

And when the builders laid the foundation of the temple of Jehovah, they made stand the priests in their robes with trumpets, and the Levites, the sons of Asaph, with cymbals to praise Jehovah, according to the ordinance of David king of Israel.

You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; You have loosed my sackcloth and have clothed me with gladness.

Give thanks to Jehovah with the lyre; sing to Him with a harp of ten strings.

Lift up a song, and the timbrel, the pleasant lyre with the harp.

Blow the rams` horn in the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

And the singers, the players of the pipe: all my springs are in You.

And the sister of Aaron, Miriam the prophetess, took the timbrel in her hand, and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

Then the virgin shall rejoice in the dance, both young men and elders together. For I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

Again I will build you, and you shall be built again, O virgin of Israel. You will again put on your tambourines and go forth in the dance of those making merry.

And Jephthah came to Mizpeh to his house. And, behold his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels, and with choruses. And she only, she alone; there was no other son or daughter to him.
