Psalm 140:1

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. O Jehovah, deliver me from the evil man; guard me from the man of violence,

O Jehovah, keep me from the hands of the wicked one; guard me from the man of violence who plan to trip up my steps.

He delivers me from my enemies; yea, You lift me up from among those rising up against me. You have delivered me from the violent man.

O my God, deliver me out of the hand of the wicked one, and out of the palm of the unjust one and the one being cruel .

Do not let a man of tongue be established in the earth; evil shall hunt the violent man, thrust upon thrust.

Arise, O Jehovah, go before his face and make him bow down! Deliver my soul from the wicked one, by Your sword,

Judge me, O God, and strive for my cause against a nation not godly. Deliver me from the man of deceit and injustice.
