To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. The foolish one has said in his heart, No God! They acted corruptly; they did abominably in deeds; Not one is doing good.

And Jehovah saw that the evil of man was great on the earth, and every purpose of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the day.

How much more loathed and corrupted is man who drinks injustice like water!

And you say, What does God know? Can He judge through the dark cloud?

Through pride of his face, the wicked one will not seek; there is no God in all of his schemes.

Foolish ones! They are afflicted from the way of their transgression, and from their iniquities;

For I was jealous of those boasting; I saw the peace of the wicked ones.

A brutish man does not know; a fool does not understand this.

Until when, ones of simplicity, will you love simplicity? And will scorning ones desire scorning for themselves? And will fools hate knowledge?

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; foolish ones despise wisdom and instruction.

The desire coming to pass is sweet to the soul, but to turn away from an evil way is a disgusting thing to fools.

If you pound a foolish one in the mortar with a pestle amidst grain, his foolishness will not turn away from him.

For there is not a just one on the earth who does good, and does not sin.

Woe, sinful nation, a people heavy with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, sons who corrupt! They have forsaken Jehovah; they have spurned the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged backward.

They have lied against Jehovah and said, It is not He; and, No evil shall come on us; and, We shall not see sword or famine.

All of them turn aside, they rebel, walking in slander. All of them are as bronze and iron; all of them are corrupters.

Offspring of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

For out of the heart come forth evil reasonings, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witnessimgs, blasphemies.

But God said to him, Fool! This night they demand your soul from you; and that which you prepared, to whom will it be?

that at that time you were without Christ, alienated from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers of the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world.

They profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient, and to every good work disapproved.

For we also once were senseless, disobedient, being led astray, slaving for various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

But for the cowardly and faithless ones, and disgusting ones, and murderers, and fornicators, and users of magic, and idolaters, and all liars, their part will be in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.

Please, do not let my lord set his heart toward this man of worthlessness, on Nabal. For as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and foolishness is with him. And I, your handmaid, did not see the young men of my lord whom you sent.
