Psalm 132:11

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Jehovah has sworn to David in truth; He will not turn from it; I will set one of the fruit of your body on the throne for you.

When your days are fulfilled, and you lie with your fathers, even I shall raise up your seed after you, who shall come out from your loins, and I shall establish his kingdom.

I shall be to him for a father, and he shall be to Me for a son. When he sins, then I will chasten him with a rod of men, and with strokes of the sons of men.

And your house shall be established, and your kingdom before you forever. Your throne shall be established forever.

And also the king has said, Blessed is Jehovah the God of Israel who has today given one sitting on my throne, and my eyes seeing it.

then I shall establish the throne of your kingdom, as I covenanted with your father David, saying, There shall not be cut off a man to you who rules in Israel;

Jehovah has sworn and will not repent: You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.

But I will not annul My mercy from him, and I will not be false in My faithfulness.

Once I have sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.

Like the moon, it shall be fixed forever, and a faithful witness in the heaven. Selah.

And the heavens shall thank Your wonders, O Jehovah; also Your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones.

God is not a man that He should lie, or a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? And has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?

This One will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.

Being a prophet, therefore, and knowing that God swore with an oath to him that of the fruit of his loin, as concerning flesh, to raise the Christ to sit down on his throne, see Psa. 132:11

that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, the ones having fled to lay hold on the hope being set before us,

And also the Glory of Israel will not lie and not repent, for He is not a man that He should repent.
