I wait for Jehovah; my soul waits, and I hope for His Word.

I have waited for your salvation, O Jehovah.

You are my shelter and my shield; I hope in Your Word.

And I will answer a word to one who reproaches me; for I trust in Your Word.

ZAYIN: Remember the Word to Your servant, on which You made me hope.

The ones fearing You will see me and rejoice; for I hoped in Your Word.

KAPH: My soul is being consumed for Your salvation; I hope in Your Word.

Hope in Jehovah; be strong and He will make strong your heart; yea, hope in Jehovah!
