Be surety for Your servant for good; let not the proud oppress me.
I will be surety for him; you may require him from my hand. If I do not bring him to you and set him before you, I shall be a sinner against you all the days.
Please lay down a pledge for me with Yourself; who is he who will strike my hand with me?
You have rebuked the proud, the cursed ones who go astray from Your commands.
Do not let the foot of pride come to me; and let not the hand of the wicked ones move me.
Like a swift or a crane, so I chatter. I moan as the dove; my eyes look weakly to the heights, O Jehovah; it presses me down; be surety for me!
by so much Jesus has become Surety of a better covenant.
