And He said to exterminate them; except Moses His elect had stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath from destroying them.

Your wickedness is for a man like yourself; and your righteousness may profit a son of man.

He sent His servant Moses and Aaron whom He had chosen.

And now, if You will, lift up their sin. And if not, I pray, blot me out from Your book which You have written.

Roam around in Jerusalem’s streets and see now, and know, and seek in her open places if you can find a man, if there is one who does justice who seeks truth; and I will pardon her.

You have not gone up into the breaks, and wall up a wall around the house of Israel, that it might stand in the battle, in the day of Jehovah.

But they rebelled against Me and would not listen to Me. They did not each man cast away the abominable idols of their eyes, and they did not forsake the idols of Egypt. And I said, I will pour out My fury against them, to complete My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

And I sought among them a man to wall up a wall and stand in the breach before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.

And he spoke to Korah, and to all his company, saying, In the morning Jehovah will know who are His, and him who is holy, and shall cause him to come near Him; even him whom He may choose, He will cause to come near to Him.

“Behold My Child whom I chose, My Beloved, in whom My soul has delighted! I will put My Spirit on Him, and He will declare judgment to the nations.

You have not chosen Me, but I chose you and appointed you, that you should go and should bear fruit, and your fruit remain, that whatever you may ask the Father in My name, He may give you.

If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

And I stayed in the mountain forty days and forty nights, as at the first. And Jehovah listened to me that time also; Jehovah did not will to destroy you.

For I was afraid because of the anger and the fury with which Jehovah had been angry against you, to destroy you. And Jehovah listened to me at this time also.

And I fell down before Jehovah the forty days and the forty nights as I had thrown myself down before, for Jehovah had said to destroy you.

Confess to one another the deviations from the Law, and pray for one another, that you may be healed; being very strong, the prayer of a righteous one works effectually.
