Do not hide Your face from me in the day of my trouble; stretch out Your ear to me in the day I call; answer me quickly.

And He gives rest, and who can condemn? And when He hides His face, who then can see Him? Even it may be against a nation and a man together,

And why do You not lift up my transgression, and make my iniquity pass away? For now I shall lie down in the dust, and You shall seek me; but I will not be.

You hide Your face, and they are troubled; You gather their breath, and they expire and return to their dust.

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David. Until when will You forget me, O Jehovah? Forever? Until when will You hide Your face from me?

O Jehovah, answer me quickly; my spirit is spent; do not hide Your face from me lest I be compared with the ones who go down to the Pit.

A Prayer of David. O Jehovah, hear righteousness; listen to my cry; give ear to my prayer, for it is not in lips of deceit.

But You, O Jehovah, be not far off; O My Strength, hurry to help Me!

Do not hide Your face from me; Do not turn away Your servant in anger; You have been my help, do not leave me and do not forsake me, O God of my salvation.

Stretch out Your ear to me; deliver me quickly, be a strong rock to me, for a house of fortresses to save me.

Be pleased to deliver me, O Jehovah; hasten to my help.

And do not hide Your face from Your servant; for it is distressing to Me; answer Me quickly;

To the chief musician. A Psalm of David, to bring to remembrance. O God, deliver me! Hurry, O Jehovah, to help me!

In Your righteousness deliver me and rescue me; stretch out Your ear to me and save me.

And it happened during these many days that the king of Egypt died, and the sons of Israel groaned from the slavery. And they cried, and their cry went up to God from the slavery.

And God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk in the fire, you shall not be burned, and not shall the flame kindle on you.

And it will be, before they call, I will answer. While they are speaking, then I will hear.

And I will wait for Jehovah, who hides His face from the house of Jacob; and I will look for Him.

No temptation has taken you if not a human one; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able. But with the temptation, He will also make the way out, so as for you to be able to bear it.
