My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and My increase is better than the best silver.

Pure gold cannot be given instead of it, and silver cannot be weighed as its price.

The topaz of Ethiopia cannot be ranked with it; it cannot be weighed against pure gold.

The tongue of the righteous one is as choice silver; the heart of the wicked ones is but little.

How much better to obtain wisdom than gold! And to obtain understanding is to be chosen above silver.

For better is its profit than the gain of silver, and its produce more than fine gold;

Receive My instruction, and not silver; and knowledge, rather than choice gold.

I walk in the path of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice;

For wisdom is in a shadow; and silver is in a shadow; but the profit of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to its possessors.
