these will deliver you from the strange woman, from the foreign woman flattering by her words,

The mouth of alien women is a deep pit; those hated by Jehovah shall fall there.

And my son, why will you be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a foreigner?

For the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her palate is smoother than oil,

to keep you from the evil woman, from tongue of flattery of the strange woman.

With her much persuasiveness she turned him aside; with the flattering of her lips she forced him,

Say to wisdom, You are my sister, and call understanding your kinswoman,

For at the window of my house I looked through my lattice,
