Turn away from you the crooked mouth, and put devious lips far from you.

turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

The lips of the righteous one know what is pleasing, but the mouth of the wicked ones knows only perversity.

One crooked of heart does not find a good thing, and he who is perverse in his tongue falls into an evil thing.

One being poor who walks in his integrity is better than a perverted one in his lips, and is a fool.

Let your eyes look straight to the front, and let your eyelids look straight before you.

A worthless man, an evil man, walks with crookedness of mouth,

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; I hate pride and loftiness, and the evil way, and the perverse mouth.

idle uselessness of men whose mind has been corrupted and deprived of the truth, supposing gain to be godliness. Withdraw from such persons.

Therefore, putting away all filthiness and overflowing of evil, in meekness receive the implanted Word, the one being able to save your souls.

If anyone thinks to be religious among you, yet not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, this one’s religion is vain.

Therefore putting aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
