Four things are little on the earth, but they are the wise ones of those made wise:

But now please ask the animals, and they will teach you; and the birds of the heavens, and they will declare to you;

under one hating when she is married, under a slave-girl when she is heir to her mistress.

The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their food in summer;

Go to the ant, lazy man; see her ways and be wise;
