An evil man is a snare by transgression, but the righteous ones sing and rejoice.

He shall rain snares on the wicked one; fire and brimstone and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.

The voice of a ringing cry of joy and salvation is in the tents of the righteous ones; the right hand of Jehovah works mightily.

And I will clothe her priests with salvation; and shouting, her godly ones shall give a ringing cry of joy.

Light is sown for the righteous one, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to Jehovah, and spoke, saying, I will sing to Jehovah, for He is highly exalted. He has thrown the horse and his rider into the sea.

The expectation of the righteous ones is joyful, but the hope of the wicked ones shall perish.

In the transgression of the lips is the snare of an evil one, but the righteous one will come out from distress.

Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked one, he guarding his soul shall be far from them.

His own iniquities shall capture him, the wicked one, and he shall be held with the cords of his sin.

For man also does not know his time. As the fish that are caught in the evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the trap, like these are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falls suddenly on them.

and they regained their senses out of the snare of the devil, being captured by him to do the will of that one.

My brothers count it all joy when you fall into various trials,

whom having not known, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with joy unspeakable and being glorified,

And we write these things to you, that your joy may be full.

And the men of Israel turned, and the men of Benjamin were troubled. For they had seen that evil had struck them.
