He who shares with a thief hates his soul; he hears a curse, but does not tell it.

He casting off correction despises his own soul, but he who hears reproof gets heart.

Like the roar of a lion is the dread of a king; he who stirs him up to anger wrongs his own soul.

He who commits adultery with a woman lacks heart; he who does it is a destroyer of his own soul.

But he who sins against Me wrongs his own soul; all who hate Me love death.

Your rulers are rebelling and are companions of thieves. Everyone loves a present, and is pursuing bribes. They do not judge the orphan, nor does the cause of the widow come to them.

And when a person sins, and hears the voice of swearing, and he is a witness, or has seen, or has known, if he does not reveal it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

And He taught, saying to them, Has it not been written, “My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations.” “But you have made it a den of plunderers.”? Isa. 56:7; Jer. 7:11

And he said to his mother, The eleven hundred pieces of silver which were taken from you, and you uttered a curse, even also speaking in my ear; behold, the silver is with me. I have taken it. And his mother said, Blessed be my son by Jehovah.

And he said to him, Far be it! You shall not die. Behold, my father shall not do a great thing or a small thing and not reveal it to my ear. And why should my father hide this thing from me? It is not so.
