A servant is not corrected by words; though he understands, there is no answer.

I call to my servant, but he does not answer; I must beg him with my mouth.

A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the back of fools.

Where there is no vision, the people are let loose, but blessed is he keeping the law.

Do you see a man hastening in his words? There is more hope for a fool than of him.

under a servant when he reigns, and a foolish one when he is filled with food,
