After this thing Jeroboam did not turn back from his evil way, but turned and made from the ends of the people priests of the high places; he who desired he filled his hand and he was one of the priests of the high places.

The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my soul shall be filled with them; I will draw my sword; my hand will destroy them.
O Jehovah, Your eyes, are they not for faithfulness? You struck them, but they felt no pain. You consumed them, yet they refused to take correction. They made their faces harder than rock; they have refused to turn back.
