Do not listen to Hezekiah, for so says the king of Assyria, Make with me a peace treaty and come out to me; and you each man shall eat of his vine, and each man of his fig tree, and you each man shall drink of the waters of his own well,

And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of Jehovah, that we may inquire of Jehovah by him? And one of the servants of the king of Israel answered and said, Here is Elisha the son of Shaphat, who poured water on the hands of Elijah.

And he went in and stood by his lord. And Elisha said to him, Where from Gehazi? And he said, Your servant did not go here or there.

Yea, the leprosy of Naaman shall cleave to you, and to your seed forever. And he went out from him as leprous as snow.

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters; as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes look to Jehovah our God, until He shows grace to us.

A servant being prudent shall rule over a son who causes shame, and he shall share the inheritance among the brothers.

Do you see a man who is prompt in his work? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before obscure men.

Iron on iron sharpens, and a man sharpens the face of his friend.

As face reflects face in the water, so the heart of man reflects a man.

Do not listen to Hezekiah. For the king of Assyria says this, Make with me a blessing and come out to me. Then let each man eat of his own vine, and each man of his own fig tree, and each man drink the waters of his own well,

Behold, I have told you in advance.

Blessed is that slave whom his master shall find so doing when He comes.

But it shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

Blessed are those slaves whom the lord will find awake when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will gird himself and will make them recline, and coming near he will serve them.

And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise steward whom the lord will appoint over his service, to give the portion of food in season?

And he said to him, Well done, good slave! Because you were faithful in a least thing, have authority over ten cities.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will also be. And if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.

And went away the angel, the one speaking to Cornelius, who calling two of his servants and a devout soldier of the ones continually waiting on him,

So the one planting and the one watering are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.

Do you not know that those laboring about the holy things of the temple eat? Those attending on the altar share together with the altar.

Who serves as a soldier at his own wages ever? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not eat of the milk of the flock?

Slaves, obey the masters according to flesh in all respects, not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God.

It is right for the laboring farmer to partake first of the fruits.

Servants, be obedient to your masters in all fear, not only to the ones good and gentle, but also to the perverse ones.

For you were called to this, for even Christ suffered on our behalf, leaving behind an example for us, that you should follow His footsteps;

So says Jehovah the God of Israel, I said indeed that your house and your father’s house should walk before Me until forever. But now, a statement of Jehovah, Be it far from Me! For those who honor Me I will honor, and those despising Me will be despised.
