Do not listen to Hezekiah, for so says the king of Assyria, Make with me a peace treaty and come out to me; and you each man shall eat of his vine, and each man of his fig tree, and you each man shall drink of the waters of his own well,

Blessed are those slaves whom the lord will find awake when he comes. Truly I say to you that he will gird himself and will make them recline, and coming near he will serve them.
Who serves as a soldier at his own wages ever? Who plants a vineyard and does not eat of its fruit? Or who shepherds a flock and does not eat of the milk of the flock?
So says Jehovah the God of Israel, I said indeed that your house and your father’s house should walk before Me until forever. But now, a statement of Jehovah, Be it far from Me! For those who honor Me I will honor, and those despising Me will be despised.
