Whoever says to the wicked one, You are a righteous one; the peoples shall curse him; nations shall abhor him.

One holding back grain, the people curse him; but a blessing is to the head of one selling grain.

One justifying the wicked one, and condemning the just one, even both of them are disgusting things to Jehovah.

The one giving to one being poor shall not lack, but the one hiding his eyes shall have plenty of curses.

Do not slander a servant to his master, lest he curse you, and you be guilty.

Woe to those who say to an evil thing, a good thing; and to a good thing, an evil thing; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put a bitter thing for a sweet thing, and a sweet thing for a bitter thing!

who justify the wicked one for a bribe, and turn aside the righteousness of the righteous ones from him!

And they shall go out and see the corpses of the men who have transgressed against Me; for their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be put out; and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.

Because you have saddened the heart of the righteous one with lies, and I have not pained him, and you have made the hands of the wicked one strong, so that he should not turn from his evil way, to keep him alive.
