Many are the evils of the righteous one, but Jehovah plucks him out of them all,

Though he falls, he is not cast down; for Jehovah holds up his hand.

He will deliver you in six troubles; yea, in seven evil shall not touch you.

For when they say, Peace and safety! Then sudden destruction comes upon them, like the birth-pain to the one having babe in womb, and they shall not escape, not one.

The wicked one is thrust out in his evil, but the righteous one seeks refuge in his death.

A wicked messenger falls into an evil way, but a faithful envoy is healing.

for their calamity shall rise suddenly, and who knows the ruin of both of them?

And you shall say to them, So says Jehovah, Shall they fall and not rise up? Or shall one turn back and not return?

I will scatter them like an east wind before the enemy; I will make them see My back, and not My face in the day of their calamity.

And they caused their father to drink wine that night also. And the younger rose up and lay with him. And he did not know when she lay down, and not when she rose up.

But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Jehovah, and know that your sin will find you out.

An evil end pursues sinners, but the righteous ones shall be rewarded with good.

So says the Lord Jehovah: An evil! An only evil! Behold, it has come!
