Treasures of wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death.

Wealth from vanity shall diminish, but he who gathers by hand shall increase.

An evil thing! An evil thing, says the buyer, but when it is left to him, then he boasts.

An inheritance may be gotten hastily in the beginning, but the end of it shall not be blessed.

He who sows injustice will reap sorrow, and the rod of his wrath shall cease.

Remove vanity and the word of a lie far from me, do not give me poverty or riches; tear for me my portion of bread,

But he who sins against Me wrongs his own soul; all who hate Me love death.

As a partridge broods and does not hatch, so is he who makes riches, and not with justice; it will leave him in the midst of his days, and at his end he will be a foolish one.

whose mouth you must stop, who overturn whole houses, teaching things which they ought not for the sake of ill gain.

And by covetousness, with feigned words, they will use you for gain, for whom judgment of old does not linger, and their destruction does not slumber.
