An inheritance may be gotten hastily in the beginning, but the end of it shall not be blessed.

A good man makes the sons of his son to inherit, but the wealth of the sinner is treasured up for the righteous one .

He cursing his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in the middle of darkness.

Do not say, I will repay the evil one; wait on Jehovah, and He will save you.

The acquisition of treasures by a tongue of falsehood is a vapor driven by those who seek death.

Do not labor to become rich; cease from your own understanding.

A faithful man shall be full of blessings, but one pressing to be rich shall not be free from guilt.

A man with an evil eye is anxious for wealth, but he does not know that poverty will come on him.

There is one who increases his wealth by interest and by usury, but one pitying the weak ones gathers it.

Shall not all of these lift up a parable against him, and a mocking riddle to him, and say, Woe to him who increases what is not his! Until when is he loading the pledges on himself?

And I will bring it forth, says Jehovah of Hosts. And it shall go into the house of the thief, and into the house of the one who swears falsely by My name. And it shall remain within his house and shall finish it, and its timber, and its stones.

If you will not hear, and if you will not set it on your heart to give glory to My name, says Jehovah of Hosts, even I will send the curse on you, and I will curse your blessings. And indeed, I have cursed it, because you are not setting it on your heart.

But the ones purposing to be rich fall into temptation, and a snare, and many foolish and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
