My son, cease to hear the chastening only to stray from the words of knowledge.

Then they knew that He did not say to take heed from the leaven of bread, but from the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

And Jesus said to them, Watch and take heed from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

But beware of the false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves.

And He said to them, Watch what you hear. With what measure you measure, it will be measured to you; and more will be given to you, the ones hearing.

But they will not follow a stranger, not ever! But they will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of a stranger.

so that we may no longer be little children, being blown and carried about by every wind of doctrine, in the trickery of men, in craftiness to the deceit of error,

But refuse the profane and old-womanish myths. And exercise yourself to godliness.

Beloved ones, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.

If anyone comes to you and does not bear this doctrine, do not receive him into the house, and do not speak a greeting to him.

I know your works, and your labor, and your patience, and that you cannot bear evil ones; and you tried the ones pretending to be apostles and are not, and found them to be liars.
