Proverbs 19:16

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

One keeping the commandment keeps his own soul; he who despises His ways shall die.

And He said to him, You have answered rightly; do this, and you shall live.

He who despises the Word shall ruin himself, but one fearing the commandment, he shall be rewarded.

But He said, No; rather, blessed are the ones hearing the Word of God, and keeping it.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not heavy.

And whatever we ask, we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments, and we do the things pleasing before Him.

Where there is no vision, the people are let loose, but blessed is he keeping the law.

Whoever guards his mouth and his tongue guards his soul from distresses.

The way of the upright one is to turn aside from evil ways; he keeping his soul watches his way.

Blessed are the ones doing His commands, that will be their right over the Tree of Life, and by the gates they may enter into the city.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of God’s commands.

Let us hear the end of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments; for this applies to every man.

Whoever keeps the command shall not know an evil thing. The heart of the wise ones know both time and judgment.

My son, do not forget My law, but let your heart guard My commands,

If you love Me, keep My commandments.

For what will a man be benefited if he should gain the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his soul?

He heard the sound of the rams’ horn and took no warning; his blood shall be on himself. But he who took warning, he shall deliver his soul.

But I commanded them this thing, saying, Obey My voice, and I will be to you for God, and you will be to Me for a people. Also, Walk in all the ways that I have commanded you, so that it may be well with you.

Thorns and snares are in the way of the crooked one, he guarding his soul shall be far from them.

He casting off correction despises his own soul, but he who hears reproof gets heart.

to those who keep His covenant, and to those who remember His precepts, to do them.

For provocation kills the foolish one, and passion causes the one being simple to die.

The man who wanders out of the way of prudence shall rest in the assembly of departed spirits.
