One being poor who walks in his integrity is better than a perverted one in his lips, and is a fool.

All the day he is gracious and lends; and his seed is for a blessing.

The righteous one searches out his friend, but the way of the wicked ones leads them astray.

One walking in his uprightness fears Jehovah, but one being perverse in his ways despises Him.

Better is a little with the fear of Jehovah than great treasure and tumult with it.

Better is a little with righteousness than great increase without justice.

The desirableness of a man is his kindness, and it is better to be poor than a man of a lie.

The just one walks in his integrity, blessed are his sons after him!

Better is the poor one walking in his integrity than the crooked one of ways, even if he is rich.

Turn away from you the crooked mouth, and put devious lips far from you.

For your palms are defiled by blood; yea, your fingers with iniquity. Your lips have spoken falsehood; your tongue murmurs perverseness.

For what will a man be benefited if he should gain the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his soul?

And now, know and consider what you should do; for evil has been determined against our lord, and on all his house. And he is a son of worthlessness, no one can speak to him.

Please, do not let my lord set his heart toward this man of worthlessness, on Nabal. For as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and foolishness is with him. And I, your handmaid, did not see the young men of my lord whom you sent.
