Yea, you hate discipline and toss My words behind you.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; foolish ones despise wisdom and instruction.

On the path to life is one keeping instruction, but one forsaking reproof is going astray.

Poverty and shame shall be to him letting chastening go, but he who keeps to chastisement shall be honored.

The heart of the discerning one seeks knowledge, but the mouth of fools feeds on folly.

Foolishness is joy to him who lacks understanding, but a man of understanding directs his going.

The ear that hears the reproof of life dwells in the midst of wisdom.

The fear of Jehovah is instruction in wisdom, and before honor is humility.

A fool despises his father’s instruction, but he keeping correction is prudent.

Why is this, a price in the hand of a fool to obtain wisdom, and there is no heart for it?

The heart of one being discerning gets knowledge, and the ear of the wise one seeks knowledge.

Hear counsel and accept chastening, that you may be wise in your latter end.

A man of chastisements who hardens his neck shall be broken with suddenness, and there will be no healing.

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise ones than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Why will you be stricken any more? Will you continue the revolt? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart is faint.

The look of their faces answers against them; they have declared their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have dealt an evil way to themselves.

O Jehovah, Your eyes, are they not for faithfulness? You struck them, but they felt no pain. You consumed them, yet they refused to take correction. They made their faces harder than rock; they have refused to turn back.

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not listen to his father’s voice, or his mother’s voice; even though they discipline him, he will not listen to them;

and they shall say to the elders of his city, This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not listen to our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.

watching diligently that not any lack from the grace of God, that “no root of bitterness growing up” may crowd “in on you,” and through this many be defiled; Deut. 29:18

But become doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

I, as many “as I love, I rebuke and I chasten.” Be zealous, then, and repent. Prov. 3:12
