A fool despises his father’s instruction, but he keeping correction is prudent.

As a ring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is the reproving of a wise one on a hearing ear.

Hear counsel and accept chastening, that you may be wise in your latter end.

One walking with the wise ones shall be wise, but a feeder of fools shall be made evil.

Turn back at My warning; behold, I will pour out My Spirit to you; I will make My words known to you.

The heart of one being discerning gets knowledge, and the ear of the wise one seeks knowledge.

It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise ones than for a man to hear the song of fools.

Poverty and shame shall be to him letting chastening go, but he who keeps to chastisement shall be honored.
