Jehovah will pull down the house of the proud ones, but He will set up the widow’s border.

He feeds the barren that do not bear, and does no good to the widow.

You have seen, for You take note of mischief and provocation, to give back with Your hand. The poor one leaves himself to You; You are the helper of the orphan.

He sees the humble one; but the haughtyone He sees from afar.

Jehovah watches over the strangers; He relieves the orphan and the widow, but He warps the way of the wicked ones.

To the chief musician. A Contemplation. A Psalm of David when Doeg the Edomite came and told Saul, and said to him, David has come to the house of Ahimelech. Why do you boast yourself in evil, O mighty one? The mercy of God is all the day.

God will likewise break you forever; He shall take you away, even pluck you from your tent and uproot you out of the land of the living. Selah.

Overthrow the wicked ones and they are not; but the house of the righteous ones stands.

The house of the wicked ones shall be laid waste, but the tent of the upright ones will flourish.

The thoughts of the evil one are disgusting things to Jehovah, but the sayings of pleasantness are pure.

Do not move the old landmark, and do not enter into the fields of the fatherless,

Learn to do good, seek justice, straighten the oppressor, judge the orphan, strive for the widow.

For the day of Jehovah of Hosts shall be on all the proud ones and those exalted, and on all that is lifted up; and it will be abased;

They have become fat; they shine. Yea, they pass over the deeds of the evil one; they do not judge the cause of the orphan, that they may prosper. And they do not judge the right of the needy ones.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his spirit grew hard to act proudly, he was cast down from the throne of his kingdom, and his majesty was taken away from him.

You shall not remove your neighbor’s landmark, which those formerly have set in your inheritance, which you shall inherit in the land which Jehovah your God is giving you, to possess it.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself without blemish from the world.

Likewise, younger ones be subject to older ones; and all being subject to one another. gird on humility, because God sets Himself “against proud ones, but He gives grace to humble ones”. Prov. 3:34
