A scorner seeks wisdom, but finds it not, yet knowledge is swift to the discerning.

Open my eyes and I will see wonderful things from Your Law.

The wise ones hear and increase learning, and he understanding gets wise counsel,

A faithful witness will not lie, but a false witness breathes lies.

Go from before a foolish man, or you will not know the lips of knowledge.

A scorner does not love one who corrects him; he will not go to the wise one.

Why is this, a price in the hand of a fool to obtain wisdom, and there is no heart for it?

With the face of one discerning is wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are in the ends of the earth.

A fool has no delight in understanding, but only in uncovering his heart.

Wisdom is too high for a foolish one, he does not open his mouth in the gate.

Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.

In righteousness are all the sayings of My mouth there is not a distorted or perverse thing in them;

they are all straight to those discerning and to the upright ones, to those who find knowledge.

To the Law and to the Testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no dawn to them!

The wise ones are put to shame; they are terrified and are captured. Behold, they have rejected the Word of Jehovah, and what wisdom is theirs?

But if anyone thinks to know anything, he still has known nothing as he ought to know.

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, the One giving to all bountifully and not reproaching, and it will be given to Him.
