A rod of pride is in the mouth of a foolish one, but the lips of the wise ones shall keep them.

You shall be hidden from the whip of the tongue, and you shall not be afraid of violence when it comes.

Jehovah shall cut off all with flattering lips and the tongue that speaks great things;

Let the lying lips be silenced which speak recklessly against the righteous one with pride and scorn.

My soul is among lions; I lie among those blazing, the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

The words of the wicked ones lie in wait for blood, but the mouth of the upright ones shall deliver them.

The proud in soul stirs up strife, but he who is trusting on Jehovah shall be made fat.

and of the ten horns that were on its head, and the other which came up, and before whom three fell, even that horn that eyes were to it, and a mouth speaking great things, and its appearance was greater than his fellows.

For speaking great swollen-over words of vanity, by the lusts of the flesh, by unbridled lusts, they allure the ones indeed escaping, the ones walking in error,

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their testimony. And they did not love their soul even unto death.

Because you kept the Word of My patience, I also will keep you out of the hour of trial, the one being about to come on the whole inhabited earth in order to try the ones dwelling on the earth.

Do not multiply your haughty words; let not arrogance go out from your mouth; for Jehovah is a God of knowledge, and by Him actions are weighed.
