For the going astray of the ones of simplicity kills them, and the ease of fools destroys them.

One of simplicity believes every word, but the prudent one considers his step.

He who is short of temper acts foolishly; and a man of evil plots is hated.

The way of the upright one is to turn aside from evil ways; he keeping his soul watches his way.

Iniquity is covered by mercy and truth, and in the fear of Jehovah men turn aside from evil ways.

A prudent one sees the evil way and hides himself, but the ones of simplicity pass on and are punished.

Blessed is the man who is always in awe of God! But he who hardens his heart falls into an evil way.

If a wise man judges with a foolish man, even he shakes, or laughs, and there is no rest.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear Jehovah and turn from evil.

going after her at once, as an ox goes to the slaughter; or as one in fetters goes to the correction of a foolish one,

the beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his mouth is evil madness.
