Yea, he loved cursing, and it came to him; he also had no pleasure in blessing, and it was far from him.

A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of the mouth, and the dealing of a man’s hand shall be given back to him.

Not every trouble shall be sent to the righteous one, but the wicked ones shall be filled with evil.

The heart knows the bitterness of its soul, and a stranger does not share in its joy.

One of simplicity believes every word, but the prudent one considers his step.

A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; he shall be satisfied with the produce of his lips.

If you are wise, you shall be wise for yourself, but if you scorn, you alone shall bear it.

So says Jehovah, Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and who makes flesh his arm, and who turns aside his heart from Jehovah.

Your own evil shall instruct you, and your apostasies shall reprove you. Therefore know and see that your forsaking Jehovah your God is evil and bitter; and My fear is not in you, a statement of the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.

Why has this people, Jerusalem, turned back to a perpetual apostasy? They hold fast to deceit. They refuse to turn back.

And I have poured out on them My disgust. With the fire of My wrath I consumed them. I have given their way on their heads, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

For as a heifer, rebelling Israel rebels. Now Jehovah will feed them as a lamb in a roomy place.

and those drawing back from after Jehovah, and who have not sought Jehovah, and not asked of Him.

but whoever may drink of the water which I will give him will not thirst, not ever! But the water which I will give to him will become a fountain of water in him, springing up into everlasting life.

For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and especially toward you.

But let each one prove his own work, and then he alone will have a boast in himself and not in the other.

For the one sowing to his own flesh will reap corruption of the flesh. But the one sowing to the Spirit will reap everlasting life of the Spirit.

Watch, brothers, lest perhaps there shall be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief to depart from the living God.
