The ransom of a man’s life is his riches, but one acting poor does not hear rebuke.

And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the leaders, and all the mighty men of strength, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and the smiths; none remained except the poorest sort of the people of the land.

But the chief of the executioners left of the poorest of the land for vinedressers and farmers.

And Satan answered Jehovah and said, Skin for skin. Yea, all that is to a man he will give for his life.

If a ransom is put on him, he shall give the redemption of his life, according to all which is put on him.

There is one being rich, yet having nothing at all; but one acting poor has much wealth.

The light of the righteous ones rejoice, but the lamp of the wicked ones shall be put out.

The crown of the wise ones is their riches; the folly of fools is their foolishness. .

He will not lift up the face of every ransom, nor will he consent when you multiply the bribes.

But Nebuzaradan, the chief of the executioners, left some of the poor people, who had not a thing to themselves, in the land of Judah. And he gave to them vineyards and fields on that day.

But ten men were found among them who said to Ishmael, Do not make us die, for there is to us treasures in the field, of wheat, and barley, and oil, and honey. And he held back and not did make them die with their brothers.

I will also leave a poor and weak people in your midst, and they shall trust in the name of Jehovah.

For what will a man be benefited if he should gain the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give as an exchange for his soul?

The life is more than food and the body than clothing.
