Every prudent one deals with knowledge, but a fool lays open his folly.

Good is a man showing favor and lending; he will measure his matters with justice.

Wisdom rests in the heart of one understanding, but amidst fools the lack of it is made known.

The tongue of the wise makes glad knowledge, but the mouth of fools pours out foolishness.

A fool has no delight in understanding, but only in uncovering his heart.

The proud arrogant one, scoffer is his name, he who deals in proud wrath.

the beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his mouth is evil madness.

And also, in the way in which a fool walks, his heart is lacking, and he says to all that he is a fool.

Behold, My Servant shall rule wisely; He shall be exalted and lifted up and be very high.

Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore, be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

For your obedience reached to all; therefore, I rejoice over you. But I desire you to be truly wise to the good, but simple toward the bad.

Brothers, do not be children in your minds, but in malice act like children, and in your minds be mature.

For this reason, do not become foolish, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

And now, know and consider what you should do; for evil has been determined against our lord, and on all his house. And he is a son of worthlessness, no one can speak to him.

Please, do not let my lord set his heart toward this man of worthlessness, on Nabal. For as his name is, so is he. Nabal is his name, and foolishness is with him. And I, your handmaid, did not see the young men of my lord whom you sent.
