One despising his friend lacks heart, but an understanding man remains silent.

But the people kept silent and did not answer him a word, for the command of the king was, saying, Do not answer him.

In the abundance of words transgression does not cease, but one restraining his lips is prudent.

A city is lifted up by the blessing of the upright one, but by the mouth of the wicked ones it is overthrown.

One going with slander is a revealer of secrets, but the faithful of spirit keeps a matter hidden.

He who despises his neighbor sins, but he who favors the humble one, how happy is he!

He who commits adultery with a woman lacks heart; he who does it is a destroyer of his own soul.

And being lovers of money, the Pharisees also heard all these things; and they derided Him.

And He also spoke this parable to some of those relying on themselves, that they are righteous, and despising the rest:

who, being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, He did not threaten, but gave Himself over to the One judging righteously;

And Zebul said to him, Now where is your mouth with which you said, Who is Abimelech, that we should serve him? Is this not the people you despised? Please go out now and fight against it.

But the sons of worthlessness said, How can this one deliver us? And they despised him and did not bring a gift to him. But he was as one keeping silent.
