The memory of the righteous one is for a blessing, but the name of the wicked ones shall rot.

And I will give one tribe to his son, that there may be a lamp to My servant David before Me all the days in Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen to Myself, to put My name there.

For I will defend this city, to save it, for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.

And they buried him in the city of David with the kings, for he had done good in Israel, and with God, and his house.

And Hezekiah lay with his fathers, and they buried him in the uppermost of the graves of the sons of David; and all Judah and the ones living in Jerusalem honored him at his death. And his son Manasseh reigned in his place.

His memory perishes from the earth, and there is no name to him on the face of the street.

The womb shall forget him; the worm sucks on him; he shall be remembered no more; and injustice shall be broken like a tree.

He shall clap His palms at him, and shall hiss him from his place.

let his posterity be cut off; let their name be blotted out in the following generation;

let them be always before Jehovah, so that He may cut off the memory of them from the earth;

For he shall not be shaken forever; the righteous one shall be for a remembrance forever.

The face of Jehovah is against doers of evil, to cut off their memory from the earth.

The righteous ones cry, and Jehovah hears; and He saves them out of all their distresses.

My enemies speak evil of me, saying, When will he die and his name perish?

A name is to be chosen rather than great riches; favor is better than silver or gold.

And this I saw, the wicked ones buried; and they came and went from the holy place, and were forgotten in the city, these things that they had done. This is also vanity.

For I will rise against them, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts, and I will cut off the name and remnant, the son and posterity, from Babylon, a statement of Jehovah.

The Hope of Israel is Jehovah; all who forsake You shall be ashamed. Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the Fountain of living waters.

Truly I say to you, Wherever this gospel is proclaimed in all the world, what this one did will also be spoken of for a memorial of her.

For He looked upon the lowliness of His slave woman. For, behold, from now on all generations will count me blessed. 1Sam. 1:11
