The rich man’s wealth is his strong city; the ruin of the poor ones is their poverty.

Those who trust in their wealth and in their many riches boast themselves.

Behold, the man who did not set God as his strength; but he trusted in his many riches; he was strong in his destruction.

The one lacking is hated even by his own neighbor, but lovers of a rich one are many .

The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, and as a high wall in his imagination.

All the brothers of the one being poor hate him, and his friends also surely have been far from him; he pursues them with words, yet they are not.

For wisdom is in a shadow; and silver is in a shadow; but the profit of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to its possessors.

So says Jehovah, Do not let the wise man glory in his wisdom, and do not let the mighty one glory in his might. Do not let the rich man glory in his riches.

And the disciples were astonished at His Words. And answering again, Jesus said to them, Children, how hard it is for The ones trusting on riches to enter into the kingdom of God!

And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take rest, eat, drink, and be glad.

Charge the rich in the age now, not to be high-minded, nor to set hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, the One offering to us richly all things for enjoyment;
